The advent of the Onshape App Store has provided migenius with\u00a0the opportunity to offer Onshape users easy access to RealityServer, which generally was available\u00a0only to\u00a0software developers. The RealityServer for Onshape application provides an end user solution that any Onshape user can use.<\/p>\n The cloud-first nature of RealityServer makes it perfect for direct integration in Onshape. You simply add the RealityServer application to your Onshape document and it appears as a new tab. Materials are based on the NVIDIA Material Definition Language<\/a> (MDL) and in the future you will be able to use your own MDL materials directly with RealityServer for Onshape. We don’t skimp on hardware, you get a dedicated high end NVIDIA GPU server to run your rendering on.<\/p>\n Because we provide dedicated<\/strong> rather than shared resources, you are responsible for starting and stopping your own server through the RealityServer application. If you haven’t used your server for 5 minutes we will shut it down for you to avoid extra charges. Servers take less than a minute to start and we are working to reduce that time even further.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n RealityServer for Onshape is now available in the Onshape App Store.
